A Palestinian and Two Israeli Settlers Join Forces to Start a Farm of Peace on the West Bank
I’ve just come across this encouraging article on the Huffington Post. Written by Harvey Stein, “Fields
of Heaven: A Joint Israeli-Palestinian Farm May Take Root in West Bank” tells of a joint venture for peace pursued by a Palestinian and two settlers on the West Bank who are planning on starting a farm together. The article includes a short video of them discovering water on the land and talking about how things change for the better when people get to know each other. (I’ll post the video separately as well). I wish them every success as it takes quite a bit of courage to undertake something like this especially when members of their own communities may disapprove.
